Let the adventure begin

Day 1 - Get here and Relax
You are whisked by private shuttle to our Villa or Estate and spend the rest of the day relaxing and settling in before a welcome dinner and a review of your upcoming adventure.

Day 2 - Morning Ride, Evening Walk
We start the day with an intermediate 35-kilometre loop ride on good paved roads. The ride features medievale villages, a saint, a roman fountain, great views, and some ancient grape crushing rocks. Good paved roads, low traffic 700 metre elevation gain and loss. Rest in the afternoon and a walking tour of our town before dinner.

Day 3 - Mountain Hike
Today we drive you high into the mountains for a spectacular hike that takes you to an ancient fort overlooking hundreds of square kilometres to a beautiful medieval village for lunch and then back on a loop over ancient shepherding tracks. Check out the views for miles and miles. Moderate difficulty. 12 kilometres. Elevation gain and loss - 300 metres.

Day 4 - Bike the Coast
A guided bike or ebike tour of Abruzzo’s Adriatic Coast featuring unique fishing platforms called Trabocchi and beautiful beaches you can stop at for a swim. In the morning, visit a giant medieval church overlooking the blue/green sea, have a great fish lunch on a Trabocco above the waves. After lunch bike the coast to the Canadian WWII Moro River Cemetery to pay respects to the thousand who died fighting of our freedoms. 6 hours. 40 kilometres. Easy. 200 metre elevation gain and loss..

Day 5 - Long Ride
We start out on a climb with stunning views over the Monte Pietra from our town Bussi Sul Tirino where we will rest up while visit its castle. Then it’s an easy ride up the Tirino River Valley to the village of Capestrano followed by a picnic lunch. Afterwards, we ride through the vineyards near Ofena and then climb to the Forca di Penne mountan pass and visit it’s ancient lookout tower, before plunging down the mountain and home. 7 hours. 70 kilometres. 1735 metres eleveation gain and loss. Low traffic. Mostly good paved road, some rough paved road and gravel. Good level of fitness.

Day 6 - Climb a Mountain
Today you climb Monte Queglia and gaze at the Adriatic Sea 30 kilometre away from the top while you have lunch. 10 kilometres. Five hours. Elevation gain and loss 500 metres. Rough trail. Hiking shoes recommmended. Wine tasting with a local producer before dinner.

Day 7 - Moderate ebike ride
For your last day, we ride up the San Leonardo Valley visiting village of Tocco da Casauria, the medieval Salle Castle, the sloping San Tomaso Church, lunch at a local restuarant, check out the borgo of San Valentino, grab a great gelato and coast home. 45 kiliometres. 5 hours. Moderate difficulty. Good paved roads. Low traffic. Elevation gain and loss 950 metres.

Day 8 - Good Bye Abruzzo
We shuttled you to Rome or Pescara for the rest of your adventure. Come back soon!
